Twelve companies were chosen for lifestyle and fashion growth coaching

Tekes (the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation) Feelings programme provides coaching and mentoring for companies in the fashion and lifestyle field.

The scheme helps firms to develop and grow their business capabilities and take the next leap towards international growth and success. Both experienced business development experts and acclaimed professionals in the field act as coaches, mentors and sources of inspiration.

Twelve companies were chosen in May 2015 for this roughly one year-long growth journey. The companies were selected on the basis of their business plan among 47 applicants. Together with Tekes, the mentors will choose five companies who will be rewarded with mentoring at the end of the coaching period.

The mentors are Swedish fashion guru Lotta Ahlvar; champion of Danish fashion and lifestyle innovations Betina Simonsen; Assistant Professor of Fashion Design and Sustainability Timo Rissanen, the Parsons School of Design; expert of corporate finance and business economics in the fashion field Satu Mehtälä and Sissi Silván, a business booster and board professional who has also operated as the first Country Director of H&M in Finland.
