Finnish UI knowhow for the luxury hybrid car manufacturer Karma

9/9/2016
California-based Karma Automotive uses Finnish SME company Rightware’s user-interface in the new luxury hybrid car Revero. Tekes has supported Rightware’s international growth in many ways.

Karma designed a fully digital cockpit and infotainment system for Revero with Rightware's software. Karma states that Rightware was the only UI provider capable of bringing the UI from prototype to production quick enough.

Helsinki-based Rightware is founded in 2009 and provides digital user-interfaces already for 20 car manufacturers, including Audi, Volkswagen concern, Nissan and Karma Automotive. Tekes funding has helped in R&D and focusing in automotive industry. With help of the business plan from Tekes' and UCLA's Global Access Program Rightware e.g. opened their Detroit office next to six world's largest car manufacturers.
