Young growth companies: Rightware

Tekes' funding aided Rightware to access international markets.

Tekes has granted funding for young innovative growth companies (YIC) to Rightware to accelerate internationalisation and hire several key personnel. During the YIC project the company has doubled turnover (99 percent from export) in two consecutive years. Rightware has offices in Shanghai, Hong Kong, Munich and Silicon Valley and has raised a total of 4 MEUR in private investments.

In addition, Tekes has granted the company R&D&I funding in Verso software programme. Rightware has participated Tekes' funded Global Access Program (GAP) to explore China market and is also part of the Vigo accelerator program by Tekes and Finnvera.

Rightware licenses software platform for 2 and 3D user interfaces and mobile graphics performance testing. Customers include global giants like Audi, Amazon, Samsung, ZTE, Intel, Nvidia, AMD and Qualcomm.
