CICERO Learning prizes for doctoral thesis

CICERO Learning has awarded its 2012 doctoral thesis prize to PhD Carita Kiili for her thesis entitled "Online reading as an individual and social practice". The thesis, graded laudatur, was awarded by University of Jyväskylä.

CICERO Learning research activities focus on the interface between Learning – Brain – Technology. The thesis prize review board looked for high level, multidisciplinary works which focused on research on learning. The review board took into account especially research across different disciplines and the international dimension was also noted.

The prize giving ceremony will be held in Helsinki in conjunction with the TEPE 2013 Conference in May.
