What kind of learning research is conducted in this field? How do the University of Helsinki's Playful Learning Centre and companies focusing on learning solutions collaborate?
These questions will be discussed from several viewpoints at the Play and Learning: How to innovate new learning solutions? Seminar at the University of Helsinki on 16 September. We invite you to hear more and discuss about playful learning, and to see how co-operation between the University of Helsinki and companies focusing on learning solutions works.
The seminar is organised in cooperation with University of Helsinki and Rovio Entertainment Ltd.
Playful Learning Center
The university's Playful Learning Center focuses on research, development and training of playful learning. It operates as an accelerator between the academic research community and companies developing learning solutions. The center offers the latest interdisciplinary research and development environment for researchers, trainers, and companies in the field. It facilitates development of new innovative future learning solutions in collaboration with various actors. The operations of the Center are based on strong Finnish competencies in education and technology.
At the moment, parties involved in the operation include selected Finnish day care centers and schools, and companies focusing on learning solutions. We would like to welcome new participants – both from Finland and abroad and from a variety of disciplines. The operation of the Playful Learning Center is financed by, Learning Solutions programme of Tekes, the Finnish Funding Agency for Innovation.
