With the aim to offer solutions to the identified challenges, this seminar presents the findings on how Finnish Renewable Energy SMEs can tap into the existing networks as an entry strategy to different African markets. Research on existing business approaches and models that assist or impede SMEs enter into the Kenyan and Nigerian market are also included to provide a preliminary background of the current situation.
Featuring an interactive exhibition of Connect business co-creation results, the full-day seminar is complemented by a panel discussion of experts and policy makers, who will provide concrete information on existing barriers to RE market, valuable suggestions and comments on the research of the networking models. We recommend guests to continue the day with the screening of ‘’Nairobi Half Life’’ as a part of Helsinki African Film Festival at Andorra Theater, Eerikinkatu 11 (More information at www.haff.fi).
