Finnish-German call for joint projects for SMEs
The project ideas are based on companies' own needs and can target any area. In these projects competitive innovative products, services and processes will be developed. Tekes funds Finnish companies and the German participants will be funded by the ZIM-programme (Zentrale Innovationsprogramm Mittelstandon), which has received excellent feedback and is the most important innovation funding for the country's SMEs.
In joint projects, there must be one SME participant from Finland and one from Germany, who both contribute strongly on the project. Project consortiums are also open to other participants and admit parties from other countries. In Finland, research organizations' contribution to the work will take place through subcontracting.
Applications must be submitted by Wednesday, 30th September 2015, at 4.15pm. The application form for a joint project can be found in the complete call announcement. It is to be included as a part of Tekes's online funding application, which the Finnish parties should fill in.
Where the online application deals with the project's basic information in the item "Is the application connected to another entity ?", the applicant should enter: ZIM call. More detailed information about the project call can be found in the complete call announcement (pdf).
