Call for applications for targeted funding – Information Security (2015)

In cooperation with the Academy of Finland, Tekes is launching a targeted call for applications from companies and research organisations for R&D on the theme of information security. The application round is for networked public-sector research in cooperation with the private sector, based on which companies and other external beneficiaries participate in research projects via their own parallel projects.
Application period: Tue 01.09.2015 - Thu 29.10.2015

This call for applications describes how companies can apply for Tekes funding for their own company projects, to be carried out alongside research projects. In this application round, Tekes funding is intended for companies only. The call is part of the research, development and innovation programme ICT 2023 which is implemented by the Academy of Finland and Tekes.

The application process features two stages. Letters of intent should be submitted by 16.15 on 29 October 2015. The application period covers combined, parallel projects by research institutes and companies, in which the research institutes seek funding from the Academy of Finland and the companies seek their own funding allocation for the combined project from Tekes. Projects will be selected for the full application stage on the basis of the letter of intent and a possible interview. Those selected for the next stage must submit their full applications by 16.15 on 1 April 2016. Decisions on projects to receive funding will be made by the end of June 2016.
