Bpifrance and Tekes to promote French-Finnish SME cooperation
Bpifrance and Tekes will start a bilateral coaching programme for innovative start-up, mid-cap and SME companies with a view to promoting cooperation between French and Finnish companies with complementary skills and expertise.
The programme will start by an initial advice information phase during which interested candidates will be able to receive information about funding opportunities, as well as information about how to set up projects.
In the second stage in autumn 2015, it is envisaged to launch joint calls for applications in several areas of innovation. The cooperation will be in the EUREKA framework, offering potential EUREKA label to funded projects. Finnish companies can apply project funding from Tekes.
Eligible projects will all be expected to create a product, service or a process that can be commercialised soon after the end of the project. The maximum duration of the project will be 3 years and involve at least one company in each country.
