Joint call for proposals for the Innovative Cities programme and the Six City Strategy
Tekes is launching a call for project proposals centred around the themes of the Innovative Cities programme and the Six City Strategy. The call is targeted at Finnish businesses that are planning to expand into or that are in the process of entering international markets. Proposals are welcomed from both individual businesses and consortia. The call also applies to businesses outside the six biggest cities (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Tampere, Turku and Oulu).
The aim is to find proposals that could solve challenges associated with the concept of smart cities and bring new innovations to the market. The participating cities will provide businesses with opportunities to test their solutions in real urban environments.
Tekes is particularly interested in proposals that promote the internationalisation of SMEs.
- Smart urban environments – suburban development
- Circular economy and industrial symbioses
- Health and well-being
See the annex (pdf, only in Finnish) for more information on the priorities.
