The Team Finland network promotes Finland and its interests abroad: Finland's external economic relations, the internationalisation of Finnish enterprises, investments in Finland and the country brand.
The core of the Team Finland network comprises the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Employment, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Education and Culture, and the publicly funded organisations and foreign offices that operate under their guidance, such as Finnish diplomatic missions abroad, offices of Finpro and Tekes, as well as Finnish cultural and scientific institutes.
Outside of Finland the Team Finland network is represented by more than 70 local teams. They bring together Finnish officials, publicly funded organisations, and other key players concerned with Finland in each respective area. At home, an important role in the Team Finland network is played by the 15 local teams of Finland's Centres for Economic Development, Transport and the Environment (ELY Centres).
The players are directed by shared, goals which are set annually by the Government.
