Nanotech Finland – Partnering with China
Tekes initiative supports Finnish corporations and research organizations co-operation with Chinese counterparts in developing, utilizing and industrializing nanoinnovations for Chinese and global markets.
The principles of strategic co-operation have been agreed between Ministry of Science and Technology of China (MOST) and Ministry of Employment and the Economy of Finland.
The main guideline is supporting new nanotechnology innovations, their utilization and commercialization to enhance industrial competitiveness in both countries. Projects planned according to guidelines set by MOST and Tekes can apply for public funding both in China and in Finland. The China-Finland Nano-Innovation Center in Suzhou, China offers a platform for Chinese and Finnish enterprises, research centers and universities to practice concrete co-operation.
